What drives Yarmouth prices

Yarmouth sits in southwestern Nova Scotia. Fishing is the local business, and the ferry to Maine runs from here. That ferry gives the town a direct water link across to the United States. It is a fishing town and a ferry port, both, and those two things shape the local economy and the freight that moves through it. A carrier working the far southwest of the province runs toward Yarmouth, where the ferry terminal sits and the next stop across the water is Maine.
